"Fun Size" Treat Holders using Spooktacular

Hello Friends!
How cute are these? Our Spooktacular National Stamping Month CTMH Special is so stinkin' cute! These adorable stamps, papers, and thin cuts are perfect for creating layouts, cards, tags, and these cute treat holders I created!
I have created the instructions for you here, so you can make your own! :)

Instructions:

  • Cut your white daisy cardstock to 3 1/2" x 7".
  • Fold in half and score with bone folder.
  • Cut a piece of colored cardstock 3 1/4" x 3 1/4". Glue this to the front of your treat holder. Cut a piece of Spooktacular B&T paper at 3"x 3". Glue to the colored cardstock.
  • Punch a hole (I used a hand hole punch) through all paper layers. Thread ribbon through both holes on the front and back of treat holder and tie a bow in the front.
  • Use thin cuts to cut out your animal and color with markers. Adhere your animal to the front with 3-D thin foam tape. Add black or white dots to the top left or right corner.
  • Slide your fun size candy treat inside. Enjoy!
Be sure to check out our Spooktacular bundle special and save 30% off! You can also order the stamps, thin cuts, paper packet, paper packet and sticker sheet, and matching cardstock separately to create your own designs!
You can order these on my website here: http://lizjohnson.closetomyheart.com

Let me know if you have any questions! Stop by again for more fun artwork! :)

Happy Creating!

  1. Liz, I had the hardest time keeping the contrast & printed fronts of these treat holders stuck to the cardstock once I put the treat inside. I tried several different kinds of glue - Tombow permanent tape runner (both regular and dots), adhesive glue dots, two-side iCraft tape, CTMH Bonding Memories glue pen, and finally, fake fingernail glue! What glue do you use? Could you email me back @ tamikomitts@gmail.com? Thanks!
