Nests of Winter Holiday Cards

The Nests of Winter DSP is a gorgeous winter paper collection! Use it for holidays, winter creating, or any occasion during the winter months! I know you will enjoy paper crafting with this darling paper!

Supply List:
Seasonal Tags stamp set
Nests of Winter 12x12 DSP
Stylish Shapes dies
Linen Thread
Real Red cardstock
White embossing powder
Versamark pad
Garden Green stamp pad
Grey Granite stamp pad
Low Profile Sparkle Dots
Pecan Pie cardstock
Small blending brush

Here's some basic instructions and cutting measurements for each card:

Card 1 - Happy Holidays Cardinals
Cut wood grain DSP @ 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Cut green striped DSP squares @ 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (Cut corner to corner)
Cut one large circle using your die-cutting machine from the Stylish Shapes dies
Fussy cut your cardinals out from the DSP
Cut the Real Red cardstock @ 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

1. Glue the striped, green corners to the left top and bottom right corners to your white card base.
2. Glue the real red cardstock to the card. Glue the wood grain DSP to the red cardstock. Stamp the sentiment "Happy Holidays" from the Seasonal Tags stamp set to the bottom right corner in garden green ink. 
3. Using a blending brush, sponge and blend grey granite ink color in the center of large circle. Loop and glue some linen thread to the back of the circle. 3-D the birds to the center of the circle using dimensionals. Adhere towards the top of card. 
4. Add the green sparkle dots to each corner.






Card 2 - Merry Christmas Bird
Cut 4" x 2 1/2" green striped DSP
Cut 4" x 2 3/4" light tan bird feet print DSP
Cut (1) medium circle from the Stylish Shapes dies
Cut (1) strip of Pecan Pie cardstock @ 1/4" x 4"
Cut (1) banner from the Stylish Shapes dies from the Real Red cardstock
Fussy cut (1) bird (1) pine bunch, (1) berries and leaves, and (1) pinecone from the DSP

1. Glue the green striped DSP to the top of card base.
2. Glue the light tan DSP to the bottom of card base. 
3. Glue the pecan pie strip in the center of the two DSP pieces.
4. Stamp "Merry" in garden green ink towards the top of the circle. Glue circle in the center.
5. Emboss white "Christmas" on the red cardstock banner. 3-D the banner across the circle, under the "Merry" with dimenstionals. 
6. Loop and glue the linen thread underneath the bird and pine bunch. Glue the pine bunch, berries and leaves, and pinecone by tucking them underneath the bird. 
7. Add green sparkle dots.

Hello Sunshine Patchwork Card

Hello Crafty Friends! I am excited to share this cute Spring card with you today! This patchwork idea was inspired from Pinterest. You will have hours of fun using this patchwork idea on your own cards! ENJOY! :) Instructions: Cut (1) piece of white cardstock at 3 3/4" x 5" (This is your patchwork background)   Cut (1) colored cardstock of choice at 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" (I used Periwinkle) Cut (8) pieces at 1 5/8" x 2 1/4" of random colors and patterns of B&T paper (I used the March-April mix-in papers and Honey Bunny papers from CTMH) Cut a 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" circle (I used a 2 1/2" retired scalloped circle thin cuts)  Cut (1) rainbow using the Happy Snail Trails stamp + thin cuts Here's the scalloped thin I used.
