Hello Sunshine Patchwork Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am excited to share this cute Spring card with you today! This patchwork idea was inspired from Pinterest. You will have hours of fun using this patchwork idea on your own cards! ENJOY! :)

Instructions:

• Cut (1) piece of white cardstock at 3 3/4" x 5" (This is your patchwork background)  
• Cut (1) colored cardstock of choice at 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" (I used Periwinkle)
• Cut (8) pieces at 1 5/8" x 2 1/4" of random colors and patterns of B&T paper (I used the March-April mix-in papers and Honey Bunny papers from CTMH)
• Cut a 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" circle (I used a 2 1/2" retired scalloped circle thin cuts) 
• Cut (1) rainbow using the Happy Snail Trails stamp + thin cuts

Here's the scalloped thin I used. Rainbow was colored 

with Periwinkle ink and Sage ink (stamp pad painting) with a small waterbrush,

light green tri-blend marker, yellow tri-blend marker, and pale pink tri-blend marker.

This is what the piece looks like before cutting it corner to corner.

This piece measures at 1 5/8"x 2 1/4".

This is what the pieces will look like after cutting them corner to corner and placing them in a patchwork pattern before gluing them to your 3 3/4" x 5" white cardstock piece.

• Start gluing each piece by starting with the top two pieces first and work your way around with a 1/8" space in between each piece.
• Once you have glued all your pieces, glue this to your colored cardstock piece, leaving a small space on all sides.
• Glue the colored cardstock to the white card base, leaving around 1 /4" on all sides.
• Stamp "Hello Sunshine" from your Happy Snail Trails stamp set in Intense Black ink pad at the bottom of your circle.
• Adhere the rainbow with thin 3-D foam tape to the top of the circle.
• Adhere the circle with thin 3-D foam tape to the center of card.
• Add gems or sparkles to right side of circle.

Honey Bunny Floral 15 Card Workshop

 Hello all! 

It's been a while since I've posted any artwork! The holidays were busy, and life got even busier! Some of you may have not heard the news last week. We received some heartbreaking news that CTMH will be closing their doors after 40 years in the paper-crafting industry on June 30, 2024! We are all trying to process this news and figure out what's next! I would have been with CTMH for 30 years this fall! I am extremely sad, but grateful for this amazing company, for the friendships I have made, and all the opportunities it gave me throughout my paper crafting career! I have learned so much! I am very grateful to my wonderful customers for their loyalty, friendship, and supporting me for nearly 30 years! I have the best customers!! I hope you will continue to follow me and support me in my next paper crafting adventure! Details coming soon!  

This will be my last CTMH Card Workshop that I will be creating! It makes me sad that it's all coming to an end soon! I hope you have enjoyed all the fun workshops that I have created throughout the years! It was my pleasure to create them for you! 💗 Let's now talk about this fun new card workshop!
