Merry Christmas!! I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Holiday Season! Thank you for visiting my blog during 2016 and for all the kind comments you left! It's very much appreciated! Today, I would like to share a shimmery card I made today. I love anything with bling! I first cut the ornament from Artiste Cricut Collection and then added shimmer trim and washi tape randomly across the ornament. Cut the excess off and you have a pretty ornament! I love the gold with these same colors! Very elegant! I hope you enjoy this fun technique and have fun creating your own! Great Tidings Snowflake Card

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am excited to share this pretty Christmas card with you today! I used up some of those extra pocket cards and zip strips! You gotta love that! Here, I used the City Sidewalks pocket cards, zip strips, and paper.  I made the snowflake center by cutting out my snowflake from the snowflake thin cuts from a piece of white cardstock. Then I took another piece of the same size white cardstock and cut and glued (4) 2 1/4" trees zip strips to the center of the solid white cardstock. Then glued the snowflake piece on top of the solid piece with the zip strips so that the pattern shows through the snowflake. The snowflake pocket card was cut down to 4" x 5 1/4". I also used the 3" x 4" red striped pocket card and glued this on top of the green 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"  B&T piece. This piece is glued on top of the snowflake pocket card. Glue this on top of a piece of black cardstock and a white base card. This c...

Oh Deer! Christmas Card

Happy December 1st! I can't believe Christmas is almost here! This is my first blog post since early November. I've had the craziest month of  November ever! My son became very sick over two weeks ago. We have spent time at the Doctor's office running tests to find out what was causing him to become so ill. I spent most of  Thanksgiving break taking care of him. I've literally had to put my life on hold to be there for my son. He is improving each day but he still has a lot of recovery to do before he returns to school and work. I am grateful for the power of prayer and for our family and friends who have kept him in their prayers. We are so happy he is improving everyday! Today, I would like to share a simple but pretty card I made for my Fall Card buffet. This was such a fun one to create! I am looking forward to having more time to create and get back to work soon! I loved the gold glitter paper underneath the focal point of this card! It really makes t...
