Hello Crafty Friends!! It's been way too long! I've been on vacation with my family to Oregon this month and enjoyed the beautiful places we visited! It was so much fun spending some quality time with my husband and kids! I can't wait to scrapbook our adventures there! I am back, and can't wait to share some fun artwork with you and some things I have been working on this month! This layout was created as a fourth layout from the WYW Cats and Bats Scrapbooking kit. I had some extra paper and Compliments and decided to create another layout so I could use up some of those scraps. I did add a couple of sheets of black, white, and Pebble cardstock to finish this layout. I cut a piece that reads "Halloween" from the words B&T paper and used my "Friends" compliments to create the title for my page. So cute and simple! Happy September 1st!! I am ready for the cooler temperatures here in Utah and excited for fall! It's my favorite time of year!  I am excited to share this elegant card with you today! I used our pretty September SOTM and the NEW Falling for you papers! This card is so much prettier in person with all that gold detail! The leaves and sentiment were embossed in gold. I can't tell you how much I LOVE the new leaves embossing folder!! You're going to love it!! The feathers were colored using Q-tips! Yes, Q-tips! I sponged the feathers with a little bit of color from the ink pads first, then took a couple of Q-tips and colored each section of the feather to create a darker shade. This technique is fun but it takes a little patience!  I love this SOTM! You can use this for so many papercrafting projects! Hello Crafty Friends! I have been invited by Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge to be a guest designer for their Sketch #223. I am very honored!    Here is the Sketch Challenge #223. My card was designed from their Sketch.  I encourage you to participate in their Sketch Challenges. Since it's Summer time the No Worries papers are perfect for what I had in mind. I am sad to see these gorgeous papers and stamps retire soon!
