Spring Notepad Holder

Happy Monday Friends!

Hope you had a great weekend!
Today, I would like to share one of my favorite little creations! I came up with this  fun idea last fall. I played with this pattern from Artiste and this is what I came up with! You can view my Autumn and Christmas notepad holders here on my blog.

I used one of my favorite color combinations:
Sorbet
Glacier
Canary
Pear

These are so pretty and springy together!
Here's the products that I used:

C1612 Shower Flowers
C1613 Paper Bird (Hostess stamp)
Z2164 Sorbet ink
Z2641 Glacier ink
Z2643 Canary ink
Z2197 Pear ink
Z2033 Whimsey Funamentals
Z1924 Dot Embossing folder
X5751 Sorbet cardstock
X5770 Glacier cardstock
1385 White Daisy cardstock
Z1790 Cricut Artiste Collection

Instructions to make your own note pad holder:

1. First, cut out your note pad holder using Artiste. I used White Daisy for this one. Use pattern (card) on page 60 and cut at 3.75". Score all edges using your bone folder.
2. Cut a piece of colored cardstock (I used Sorbet) and glue on the top of your note pad holder. Cut a second piece of colored cardstock (I used Glacier) and glue on top of the Sorbet piece to get that layered look.
3. Cut a piece of white cardstock about 3" x 3/8". Stamp randomly using the stamps from the Shower Flowers stamp set. Glue this to the top of the Glacier piece.
4. Using the scalloped edge of the notepad holder trace your Whimsey Fundamentals canary chevron paper using a pencil. Cut this out and glue to the top of your white scalloped edge of your notepad holder.
5. Using a piece of Sorbet cardstock cut out your bow using Artise accent 3 on page 55 and cut at 3/4". Run your bow through your Cuttlebug using the Dot embossing folder. Score and fold your bow and add a small white brad to
hold your bow togther. Glue this on top of finished 1/2" piece.
Stamp "Smile" on a small piece of White Daisy cardstock using Sorbet ink. Glue this to a piece of Glacier cardstock. Glue at the top of your notepad holder just under your bow.
6. Add a 3 1/2" notepad or post it note and glue inside.
7. Enjoy! :)

These make wonderful little gifts for friends, neighbors, family, and of course Mother's Day!

4x4 Blossom Card

Happy Friday Friends!

Today, I would like to share a fun 4x4 card that I designed. I love this Blossom paper with the embossing folders! It's such a nice combination!

Here's my instructions to make this Springy card:
1. You will need to cut one piece of white Daisy cardstock 4x8. Fold in half. Set aside.
2. Cut two Blossom floral B&T pieces at 1 x 3 1/2. Cut one Sunset cardstock  1 x 3 1/2 and one Lagoon cardstock 1 x 3 1/2. Set aside.
3. Emboss a piece of white daisy cardstock using the Quatrefoil embossing folder. Cut one piece 1 x 4 and another piece 3/4 x 4.
4. Glue the 1 x 4 piece to the bottom of the 4 x 4 card. Trim your banners to create the dove tail look and glue each one at the top of your card.
5. Using your Art Philosophy cut a scalloped circle using circle 2 on page 31 using Lagoon cardstock 2 1/4. Then cut your white Daisy circle at 2" on page 21.
Glue these together and set aside.
6. Stamp your flower in Sunset using C1612 Shower Flowers and cut out. Stamp your swirl in Lagoon and cut out. Stamp two leaves in Pear and cut these out. Using your 3-D tape add this to your flower and swirl to make the flower "pop". Attach to your scalloped circle. Glue your leaves and add.
7. Cut a piece of your striped zip strip 4".
Glue this to the 3/4 x 4 embossed piece. Glue this to the center of your card on top of your banners. 3-D your scalloped circle and attach.
8. Stamp "Congratulations" using your black ink.
9. Add a Glacier sequin to the center of your flower. Add two small Glacier sequins to the the right of your card on top of the striped zip strip.

Viola! I hope you had fun making this little card! Enjoy making others projects using these awesome products!

Expressions 2 goes Live TODAY!

It's here!! Our new Expressions 2 goes live today! You can now order these new products from our second Expressions!

Meet Jackson and Blossom! These are two new paper packets you are going to love! On the first card, I used Jackson on the birthday card. This stamp is actually a Happy Father's Day stamp (A1173 The Best Dad Ever). I took that out and stamped a happy birthday sentiment in it's place. So fun!
The other card is made with Blossom. This is such a pretty paper packet! I used the matching stamps called "Shower Flowers". I love the bright colors of Sunset, Lagoon, and Pear on this card!
